Raven Rocks Preservation Zone is a protected area in Fish Creek Provincial Park that showcases sandstone outcroppings and cliffs from the Cretaceous period. The sandstone was formed by ancient river sediments and contains fossils of plants and dinosaurs. The sandstone is exposed by erosion from Fish Creek, which reveals the geological history of the park.
