Mallard Point Keyhole

All year, this area of Fish Creek park (which is, really more a Bow River area) is a perfect, spacious, quiet walk. There are a number of dead trees that have a wonderful sculptural quality to them. On one such winter walk this tree gave a keyhole view of the sky. 

This is an 8 x 10 oil painting done on a primed canvas panel. I use Kama paint which is produced in Quebec and uses walnut oil.
