Head Smashed in Buffalo Jump

South of Calgary is the site of a buffalo jump, widely considered to be the most efficient land animal killing site every created by humans. 

This is an 8 x 10 oil painting done on a primed canvas panel. I use Kama paint which is produced in Quebec and uses walnut oil.
