Nosehill Copse of Trees

On the southern half of Nosehill, west of the quarry forest, is a copse of trees. This one is a few foot steps away from a well established path. A mix of retired trees in various states of rest with new suckers coming up. In the summer it can be a good spot for a pause in the shade. In the winter, like this picture, it will have long shadows even in midday.

This is an 8 x 10 oil painting done on a primed canvas panel. I use Kama paint which is produced in Quebec and uses walnut oil.
