Nosehill Raven Trees

A heavy curtain of cloud hangs above a ribbon of blue sky. A small group of trees is a host for a raven chatting to whoever will listen. The snow has fallen, then melted, and remains in fading clumps across the plateau. 

This is an 7.5 x 12 oil painting done on a canvas wrapped wood panel. I use Kama paint which is produced in Quebec and uses walnut oil.
