Fish Creek Fall Entrance

Fall of 2023 was a rare season in Calgary. A long mild Fall meant the colours stayed for a long long time. On a trip back up from the 24th street entrance this scene assembled itself - with the guard rail providing a frame. 

This is an 8 x 10 oil painting done on a primed canvas panel. I use Kama paint which is produced in Quebec and uses walnut oil.
