Griffith Woods Bridge

This painting looks at pedestrian bridge in Griffith Woods park. This park on the west side of the city borders the Tsuu T'ina land and the Elbow River. This park is a spectacular coniferous forest with remarkable birds I haven't seen elsewhere in the city. Many bridges in this park are rebuilt after the flood in 2013.

This is an 8 x 10 oil painting done on a primed canvas panel. I use Kama paint which is produced in Quebec and uses walnut oil.
