McHugh Bluff Pathway

This 8 x 10" image on a 9 x 12" archival paper is a pencil drawing scene from McHugh Bluff. Although a bike path runs parallel to 10th street, we've long been using 9th street up and down the hill which provides better views and less traffic. This evening was raining, with warm clouds holding the light. My road home had taken me along the river and up this hill. I enjoy the way the edge of the bluff grows with density as it turns out of sight. A bit of downtown sits silent and dark to the south.
