The Lindsay Project
The Lindsay Project was an enormous undertaking by the MD program at the Cumming School of Medicine. Most of the work was focused on the creation of an agent based representation of human physiology. One of the projects that got off the ground was an anatomy application, rebranded as the Zygote Atlas. At the time, an unparalleled feature set - which included an ultrasound like "slice" mechanism.
Arcade Style Games
After a residency at the Banff Centre (2003), I began really exploring games as a vehicle. Fear Commandos
As an art student in the 90s, I balanced my output between silkscreen and short video. The distribution challenges were unique to the time, and these videos were sometimes exhibited as loops, which I'd create by exporting video via parallel port to a VHS machine. Here's a video that was exhibited in Lethbridge and Calgary, called Fear Commandos. Perhaps a predecessor to the "React" videos on youtube and Twitch today. a

Towards the end of my arts program I began enjoying humor, which was a scarce commodity in most fine arts spaces. This video is a good example of my work at the time, where the title and the punchline don't take long to come together.
